HURRICANE BARBARA FORMS IN THE EASTERN PACIFIC

A recently formed tropical storm has developed strength in the eastern Pacific Ocean. The system, now known as Tropical Storm Barbara, is presently located about 250 miles southeast of the coast of Baja California. Experts are anticipating that Barbara will intensify over the next few days. The storm is moving westward at a rate of 20 mph.
